Nagaland Governor Pushes Education Overhaul for National Growth

Kohima: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav demanded a revamped school system this weekend. He spoke at the Byatikram Education Conclave 9.0 in Dimapur on June 22. The Governor wants students ready for the future. He insists that education drives India toward its Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

Yadav spoke to a room full of teachers and students. He argued that the country needs lifelong learners who can handle rapid tech shifts. The current system must produce innovators and responsible citizens. "Education remains the most powerful instrument of transformation in India's journey towards achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047," he said.

He pointed to the National Education Policy 2020 as the path forward. This policy leans into multidisciplinary learning and skill growth. It pushes students toward holistic development and critical thinking. The Governor challenged school leaders to stop focusing only on jobs. He wants schools to build future leaders for the nation.
