Kohima: Mokokchung police busted a liquor stash on October 18. Officers raided a property in Dilong Ward around 10 pm. They walked away with a massive haul of alcohol. A team led by the SDPO along with personnel from Police Station-I carried out the operation.

The raid netted 28 cases of 500 ml Kingfisher canned beer. Authorities also found 12 cases of 180 ml Iconic Whisky, one case of 375 ml bottles, and three extra 750 ml bottles of the same brand. Everything was seized from the custody of 45-year-old Pangjungmatem, a resident of Dilong Ward.
