Kohima: Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar finished its five-day Vacation Bible School on Sunday. More than 400 Sunday School students attended the event held from July 22 to 26, 2026. The program operated under the theme More than Conquerors.
Rev. Limhathung Lotha, pastor of the church, opened the sessions with an invocation. Throughout the week, various church leaders shared messages with the youth. Speakers included women pastress Yanpvulo J. Ovung, associate pastor Rev. Yimtsu Yanthan, youth director Jenibemo Kithan, and CNY director Ajano B. Patton. They addressed topics like Victory over Fear and Conquering through Christ’s Love.
The schedule balanced spiritual instruction with engagement. Kids participated in Bible classes, skit competitions, and Bible recitation. The Ignite Choir managed the music while the Praise and Worship Team handled the worship sessions.
The program relied on community support. Ajano B. Patton thanked the families and donors for their efforts. She stated, "More than 400 Sunday School students attended VBS 2026, making it a spiritually enriching and memorable event for the congregation." Organizers credited these cash and kind contributions for the overall success of the initiative.
