Kohima: Nagaland Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse and MLA Dr. Tsielhoutuo Rhutso surveyed landslide damage in Kohima on September 5. They visited the affected sites at Serüzou and Kewhitsütuo Model. The situation is dire. T. Khel Council chairman K. Neibou Sekhose told the officials that the slide hit 25 landowners, wrecking paddy fields and homes. The disaster also severed the road from Tsütuo Kharu to Indira Gandhi Stadium. It has been closed since August 5. Sekhose demanded government support for victims and immediate road repairs.
Elsewhere, the youth of Wokha gathered at the Sunday School Hall in Airfield Colony for a workshop on basic staff notation. The TaFMA District Partner, LCMHS, Airfield Youth Fellowship, and Airfield Youth Organisations hosted the event. Experts David Ngullie and Mhademo Ennio taught the students about grand staffs, key signatures, scales, and accidentals. Organisers said the workshop offered youth a practical opportunity to strengthen their understanding of music fundamentals.
Meanwhile, Yamaha Artist Nise Meruno traveled to Chandigarh for a masterclass on September 7. He appeared alongside representatives from Yamaha Music India and the proprietor of Amrit Music Pvt Ltd.
