NSCN Accuses Indian Army of Drone Strike on Mt Horeb

Kohima: The Provisional Government of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) claims the Indian Army hit Mt Horeb with a drone strike. The operation took place on October 11. It lasted from 2:40 am until 4:30 am. This attack allegedly targeted individuals involved in the Naga sovereignty movement.

The group issued a formal statement on October 24. They condemned the military action. Despite the strike, the organization claims the event only strengthened its dedication to the Naga cause. They labeled the presence of the Indian government as an illegal occupation of Nagalim. The NSCN further accused Indian forces of violating human rights and international law.

Leaders now want the international community to step in. They are pushing the United Nations to investigate the situation in Nagalim immediately. The group specifically questioned India’s ongoing bid for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. They stated, "The Indian government and its collaborators of what it described as the illegal occupation of Nagalim and alleged violations of international law and human rights."

The NSCN urged residents of Nagalim to stand together. They demanded the people protect their sovereign rights. No further details on casualties were provided in the press release.
