Kohima: The NSCN/GPRN Provisional Government claims the Indian Army launched a drone strike on Langkho village in Eastern Nagalim. The attack occurred in the early hours of October 3, just after midnight. Two civilians, including a young girl, suffered injuries during the assault. Homes and property sustained damage.
The organization labeled the strike an act of aggression against innocent people. It claims the military action violates international law. The group argues the Armed Forces Special Powers Act shields security forces from accountability for ongoing human rights abuses in Naga territories.
The Provisional Government questioned India’s quest for a permanent United Nations Security Council seat. It insists the state’s behavior in Nagalim contradicts its international image. The group stated that India’s conduct is "inconsistent with the principles it projected internationally."
Officials now demand an independent international inquiry into the strike. They insist that if the Government of India denies involvement, it must welcome an impartial investigation. The group appealed to the international community to launch a probe and urged Naga citizens to stay vigilant while asserting their rights.
