Kohima Police Return 29 Recovered Mobile Phones to Owners

Kohima: The Kohima Police department successfully recovered 29 lost and stolen mobile phones over the last six weeks. This effort is part of a broader commitment by local authorities to prioritize community-oriented policing services.

On Thursday, officials at the South Police Station in Kohima returned 17 of the recovered devices to their rightful owners. These phones carry an estimated total value of three lakh rupees.

Including this latest success, the department has managed to track down and restore 36 mobile phones to residents in recent months.
