Kohima: The IDEAL Ministry hosted a fundraiser in Kohima on October 31 to support cancer patients. The event, titled Special Afternoon Tea for a Cause, took place at the BMS Multipurpose Hall in Perizie Colony. Every cent raised goes to families struggling with the financial burden of the disease.
Abi Angami, the founder and director of the organization, kicked off the afternoon by outlining the mission of IDEAL Cancer Care Services. Angami emphasized the necessity of community aid for those battling the illness. Praveen Paul spoke during the event to honor the survivors. He focused on the need for grit and community, stating: "the importance of resilience, hope, and community support."
Singer Akhonuo provided the entertainment with a special performance. Guests shared tea and food while donating to the cause. The ministry aims to keep the support pipeline open for those hitting their hardest days.
