Kohima: The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) launched its Golden Jubilee logo on August 7 at its office in Kohima. This event kicked off the Chamber's fiftieth year of operation since its 1976 formation. Medozhatuo Rutsa, who leads the Golden Jubilee Organising Committee, revealed the branding to a group of invited guests and office bearers.
KCCI president Ruokuoneilie Kesiezie led the proceedings. Pastor Visato Yhoshü of UBC offered the opening prayer. Vithuse Temi, the KCCI secretary of sanitation, designed the emblem. It features a golden ring to represent wealth and eternity, alongside golden leaves that stand for achievement and victory. The numbers 1976 to 2026 sit directly beneath the emblem to document the timeline.
Kesiezie highlighted the deep meaning behind the design during his address. He noted that the logo “belongs to every member who kept the Chamber standing for fifty years.” He added that the imagery reflects the group's long service to the state capital's business community while committing the organization to the traders and entrepreneurs tasked with driving the local economy into the future.
