Kohima: Japfu Christian College in Kigwema hosted the district-level Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan event this past Wednesday. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized the gathering through MY Bharat Kohima. The goal is simple: keep youth off drugs.
Principal Prof. Visakhonü Hibo welcomed the crowd. She noted the college was a fitting venue for the discussion. She stated, "the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 could be realised only through holistic human development alongside other national development priorities."
State Programme Supervisor Ruokuovikho Chale pushed the attendees to act as ambassadors for a cleaner society. District Youth Officer Pradeep J detailed the program goals before the students took a formal pledge to stay clean. A signature campaign followed to lock in their public commitment.
