St. Anthony’s College in Meghalaya Hiring Lecturers for 2026

Shillong: St. Anthony’s College in Meghalaya is hiring. The school needs two new lecturers for the 2026 academic year. One position is open in Zoology and another in Political Science.

Applicants need a Master’s degree with at least 55 percent marks in the relevant subject. You must hold a degree from an Indian university or an accredited foreign institution. The college offers a 5 percent grade relaxation for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes in the non-creamy layer, and those with specific disabilities. This includes people with blindness, low vision, deafness, hard of hearing, cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, muscular dystrophy, autism, intellectual disabilities, or specific learning disabilities.

You must have cleared the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test or an equivalent like SLET or SET. Alternatively, you can qualify if you have earned a PhD under the 2009 or 2016 UGC regulations.

Send your application on plain paper to the Principal of St. Anthony’s College in Shillong. Include your CV, a passport-sized photo, and self-attested copies of your mark sheets, certificates, and publications. You must label your envelope clearly. The college requires you to mark the package as, "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LECTURER (LIEN POST) IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY/ POLITICAL SCIENCE"
