Guwahati: A gas cylinder exploded at a City Dhaba in the Bhangagarh area of Guwahati early Saturday, November 7. The blast ignited a massive blaze that spread to five nearby businesses. Emergency crews rushed fire tenders to the scene to battle the inferno.

Flames continued to rage as of the latest report, with three shops remaining engulfed. Crowds gathered at the site while some locals tried to fight the fire. The dhaba sits near the Bhangagarh overpass. The narrow road and responding emergency vehicles choked traffic in the sector.

Authorities have not yet calculated the total damage. Firefighting operations are still active. "No injuries or casualties have been reported so far," officials noted. More details will follow as the situation develops.
