Guwahati: A fire ripped through five shops near the Assam Medical College and Hospital in Dibrugarh today. Panic gripped the neighborhood as flames consumed the commercial row. It started at a business called Sandhya Sweets. Experts suspect a cooking gas cylinder explosion triggered the blaze.
The fire quickly jumped to four neighboring properties. It left a trail of destruction in its wake. Emergency crews worked to kill the flames and stop the spread.
