Dimapur Court Summons Fugitive Robert Kikon in POCSO Case

Kohima: The Fast Track Special Court in Dimapur issued a public notice for Peter Chumbemo Kikon. He goes by the alias Robert Kikon. Authorities want him for crimes linked to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012. He also faces charges under Section 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Special Judge Khesheli Chishi signed the notice on July 6, 2026. Kikon hails from Mekokla village in Wokha district. His last known address is the Little Attic Building in Kacharigaon, Dimapur. Police tried to serve an arrest warrant. They failed. The court suspects Kikon is hiding.

The official notice states that the accused is "concealing himself to avoid the service of the said warrant." The court now demands his presence. Kikon must appear in court on August 10, 2026, at 10:30 am. He has to answer the pending complaint.
