Guwahati: Tensions are boiling over at the PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary Girls School in the Gauripur Education Block. Locals say the formation of a new School Management Committee is stalled. The meeting has been called off three times in a row. Officials allegedly failed to notify the elected member representing the local authority about these changes.

Umesh Kumar Roy, the Ward Commissioner for Ward No. 1, officially looped in the District Commissioner of Dhubri. He filed a formal complaint. The document points to a pattern of administrative irregularities and suggests the school funds may have been embezzled. Parents and residents now want the district administration to step in. They fear the ongoing gridlock will wreck the school environment.

Academic In-Charge Principal Biswanath Roy remains at the center of the storm. Critics claim his handling of the process is the primary cause for the chaos. One concerned resident noted, "The continuing dispute and administrative deadlock could affect the functioning of the institution and its academic environment." Authorities are now tasked with picking apart these allegations to determine why the meetings were repeatedly pushed back.
