Kohima: Additional Deputy Commissioner Zapuno Khatso has called a mandatory coordination meeting in Chozuba. The session addresses plans for the 80th Independence Day 2026 celebration. It happens on July 30, 2026, at 11 hours. Officials must gather at the ADC office in Phek.
Khatso directed every head of office, institution, and stakeholder under the Chozuba Sub-Division to appear. Attendance is non-negotiable. "ADC has further directed all the heads of offices/ institutions/ stakeholders under Chozuba Sub- Division to attend the meeting without fail."
Separately, staff issued a correction regarding a previous report from July 27. The NSS units representing Nagaland at the North East Festival in Sikkim belong to St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama. The earlier publication failed to name the institution correctly.
