Kohima: The Central Nagaland Tribes Council held its inaugural executive council meeting on May 29 at Hotel Cedar. This gathering marked the first formal session for the organization's newly elected leadership team.

During the meeting, the council members formally resolved to prioritize the preservation and protection of the rights of indigenous Nagas. The council intends to focus its upcoming agenda on safeguarding these regional interests and addressing the needs of its constituents.
