Business Association of Nagas Partners with AICIL to Boost Agricultural Insurance

Kohima: The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has formed a strategic partnership with the Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd. (AICIL) to broaden insurance coverage for the state’s agricultural sector. This agreement was formalized during the BAN’s 13th Annual General Meeting, held recently at E Space in Dimapur.

By joining forces, the two organizations aim to bolster risk mitigation for local farmers and agri-entrepreneurs. The partnership is expected to improve financial security and inclusion for those working in the state's vital agricultural industries.

During the meeting, BAN members engaged with various institutional representatives to explore ways to foster sustainable business growth. Discussions focused on strengthening support systems for local enterprises, as the association continues its mission of advocacy and capacity building. Addressing the future of these collaborations, the organization noted that the deal will play a vital role in enhancing risk mitigation mechanisms for farmers and agri entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to greater economic resilience, improved financial security and increased financial inclusion across the state.

The event served as a platform for entrepreneurs to learn about government schemes and professional development opportunities. BAN stated that it remains dedicated to cultivating a productive ecosystem for Naga businesses through these ongoing strategic initiatives.
