Imphal: Assam Rifles soldiers visited Borobekra Higher Secondary School in Manipur. They held a lecture on women’s literacy and empowerment to mark International Literacy Day. Fifty students attended the session. They discussed the impact of education on self-reliance and national growth.
The force focused on building ties with the local population. They aim to boost social development through youth engagement. "The initiative was part of its efforts to engage with youth, promote education and support community empowerment while strengthening its ties with the local population," the unit stated. Officials plan to keep hosting these community events to foster regional peace and harmony.
