Imphal: The 2nd Kakching District Yogasana Championship 2026 wrapped up on Sunday. The event took place at Chumnang Community Hall in Kakching Deepa Pareng. Organizers included the Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association and the District Yoga Training and Research Association, Headquarters Kakching. They ran the show under the oversight of the Manipur Yogasana Sports Association.
State officials watched the final day. Secretary of Youth Affairs and Sports Naorem Praveen served as the chief guest for the closing ceremony. Kakching Superintendent of Police Priyadarshini Laishram attended the event as the special guest.
Key organizers and community figures also stood on the dais. The list included Manipur Yogasana Sports Association president Dr. Naorem Chaoba, District Yoga Training and Research Association adviser Naorem Amuyaima, and Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association president Naorem Ibomcha. The organizers noted the competition remains a key regional effort to "concluded at Chumnang Community Hall, Kakching Deepa Pareng, on Sunday."
