Imphal: Khurai MLA L. Susindro launched a new mobile application called Susindro Connect. He wants to boost transparency in welfare schemes and local development. The tool gives residents a direct line to air grievances. Public complaints can now target roads, healthcare, water supply, and waste management.
Ward-level committees will keep watch on active development work. These local groups aim to resolve public issues on the ground. Susindro stated, "Residents could use the app to report issues concerning roads, healthcare, water supply and waste management."
The platform lists details for the E-Scheme and Tamohal Scheme. Users can also request aid like iPads or washing machines if they qualify. Couples preparing for marriage can apply for assistance starting in November. The app covers sports and disaster management, too. A companion site, susindroeducation.in, is already live to push educational goals.
