Assam Police Seize Rs 4 Crore in Yaba Tablets

Guwahati: Patharkandi police arrested Enam Uddin today for trafficking. Officers caught him red-handed during a targeted operation. The haul includes Yaba tablets with an estimated market value of Rs 4 crore. Police also impounded the vehicle used to move the contraband.

This bust adds to a string of recent seizures as state enforcement agencies ramp up pressure on narcotics rings across Assam. Investigators are still working to trace the source of the load and identify the intended final destination. Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact volume of pills recovered in the raid. "Enforcement agencies continuing operations against the illegal trafficking and distribution of narcotic substances across the state," officials noted during the initial booking.
