Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak trekked to Wakka village in the Longding district this week. It sits right on the Indo-Myanmar border. He went there as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan initiative to connect with residents in isolated regions. The MP attended the Aangan Milan Seva programme to meet with local children, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and their helpers.
Tagak listened to grievances from the frontline staff. He promised to take their specific issues to the relevant authorities for official action. He lauded their hard work, noting how they provide essential services despite the rough terrain and poor connectivity. The MP handed out honors to the workers to recognize their dedication. He stated, "The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan was aimed at taking the spirit of public service directly to people, particularly those living in remote, rural and border areas."
The legislator also spoke to the children gathered at the event. He pushed them to prioritize their education and health while chasing their goals. Tagak argued that kids in these far-flung zones deserve the same opportunities as anyone else in India. Building up these border villages remains a top priority. He believes development improves lives while simultaneously hardening national security along the frontier.
