Kohima: The All Nagaland Child Development Project Officer’s Association (ANCDPOA) gathered at Highland Park in Kohima on June 19 to celebrate its 30th annual general meeting. Held under the motto Unity, Dexterity and Service, the event brought together members to reflect on their ongoing contributions to child welfare programs across the state.

Social Welfare Director Tosheli Zhimomi addressed the attendees as the special guest, emphasizing the critical role officers play in the Integrated Child Development Services mission. She noted that their work extends beyond simple administration, as they are actively investing in the nation's future. She told the officers, "Leadership is not measured merely by authority but by the ability to inspire and empower others through dedication and hard work."

Zhimomi encouraged the team to embrace innovation and modern technology to strengthen monitoring systems. She stressed the importance of supporting frontline Anganwadi workers, urging the officers to foster an environment where every center serves as a vibrant hub for learning. She also suggested that the mission has the potential to evolve into a broader movement that includes adolescent support.

Association president L. Nikuto Chishi opened the session with a keynote address, crediting the group's longevity to its strong foundation and the consistent unity of its members. The program featured an invocation by vice president R. Chirhotshu Nyusou and was facilitated by general secretary Meyalemla Ao, with concluding remarks offered by CDPO Tening, Chotangse Sangtam.
