Achumbemo Kikon Opens New Bhandari Cemetery Road

Kohima: Advisor for SCERT and Food Processing Achumbemo Kikon opened the road connecting the Community Health Centre Bhandari to the general cemetery on October 8. The Department of Urban Development managed the construction in Wokha. Kikon noted the project brings necessary connectivity to the public during periods of bereavement.

The advisor pointed to several other upgrades finished in the town. These include the SDEO office road, a culvert at Tchupokhen Colony, and a combined road and culvert project at Zuvotung and Meri Colony. Kikon urged citizens to own the upkeep of public assets. He wants people to focus on unity. "Urging citizens to extend cooperation and support towards developmental initiatives, the advisor called upon the people to collectively take responsibility for the maintenance and preservation of public infrastructure."

ADC Bhandari Longasen Lotha thanked Kikon for the work. He asked for more support to boost basic infrastructure in the sub-division. Head GB B. Longshi Odyuo and Medical Colony GB Orenthung Kikon gave short speeches. BTC Chairman Khonthungo Odyuo chaired the event. Pastor Zujanthung Yanthan led the dedication prayer, while councillor David K. Lotha offered the vote of thanks.
