AKTB Issues Employment Fraud Warning for Bengaluru Job Seekers

Kohima: Ao Kaketshir Telungjem Bengaluru (AKTB) is sounding the alarm on job scams. Fraudsters are targeting individuals relocating to the city for work. These schemes involve fake companies and various forms of misconduct. The union wants people to verify credentials before booking travel or accepting job offers.

Exercise caution. The AKTB Constitution covers students and professionals aged 34 and under. New arrivals in Bengaluru should register with the office immediately. This registry helps the group track members and offer support. They cannot help those who stay off the books. As the union stated, "The union therefore encouraged all eligible Ao individuals moving to Bengaluru to register with AKTB upon arrival." Stay vigilant to avoid exploitation in a new city.
