Kohima: Federal officials gathered 52 artisans and craftsmen in Tuensang on August 25. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises teamed up with the MSME Development and Facilitation Office and the local Industries Centre for the event. They hosted the one day awareness session at the ENPO Conference Hall.

The training focused on the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. Instructors covered business basics, financial literacy, and product packaging. They also taught craftsmen how to design labels, generate QR codes, and sell goods through e-commerce platforms. Experts showed attendees how to use artificial intelligence to boost their sales. This initiative provides tools for small business growth.

Nokeduto Savi, a project associate with RAMP, chaired the event. Khumchopi Sangtam, the functional manager of DIC Tuensang, welcomed the crowd. A report from the DIPR stated the workshop aimed to create awareness among participants on topics ranging from product design to digital onboarding.
