Agartala: The Tripura State Election Commission announced that the final electoral roll for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) village committee elections will be published on June 15. Secretary Anurag Sen confirmed the timeline during a press conference on Monday following the release of the draft voter list earlier that day.

Voters have until June 9 to submit claims or objections regarding the draft list. Officials will spend the following days scrutinizing these submissions to resolve discrepancies before the final publication. This voter list revision is a key component of the broader preparatory work, which began immediately after the TTAADC general elections concluded.

The election process will encompass over 2,600 seats across 587 village committees. To manage the voting process effectively, the commission has established 1,550 polling stations across various blocks within the ADC jurisdiction. Authorities are urging all eligible residents to review their registration details promptly to ensure the accuracy of the final roll.
