Agartala: Tripura shattered its financial goals through the SAMRIDDHI 3.0 campaign. The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission initially aimed to grant 220 crore in loans to Self-Help Groups over 45 days. They blew past that mark. Officials received 344 crore in total loan requests and ultimately approved 310 crore in funding.

The state held a review workshop at the State Guest House to analyze the surge. TRLM CEO Tarit Kanti Chakma and COO Dipayan Ghosh led the meeting with staff from West Tripura and Sepahijala districts. They mapped out plans to keep the momentum moving forward. The TRLM credited the results to the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and the Secretary of the Rural Development Department. Officials noted that their guidance and motivation have been instrumental in driving the campaign’s success and inspiring the TRLM team to aim higher.

These funds go directly into rural hands. Families will use the cash for farming, food processing, handicrafts, and various services. By giving these groups better access to credit, the state hopes to turn small operations into bigger engines for the economy. This win serves as a blueprint for future drives. It proves that local groups can manage debt and grow their own businesses with the right support.
