Agartala: Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das has identified a disconnect between high unemployment rates and the lack of qualified personnel for specialized roles. During a recent address, the Animal Resource Development and Fisheries Minister explained that while many citizens are searching for work, industries frequently struggle to recruit staff with the necessary technical expertise.

Das highlighted Artificial Intelligence as a primary example of this disparity. While the technology is frequently discussed, he noted that very few people possess the practical knowledge or professional training required to excel in the field. He warned that the future workforce must adapt to these rapidly evolving technologies to remain competitive.

To tackle this challenge, the state government will host a dedicated training program on December 1 and 2. This initiative focuses on providing participants with exposure to emerging digital technologies. By improving the skill sets of local youth, the government aims to enhance their employability and align the regional workforce with the demands of a modern, technology-driven economy.
