Kohima: Tribal women took to the streets in Kohima today. They gathered at the Phoolbari junction to demand action in a high-profile sexual harassment case. The suspect is IAS officer Reny Wilfred. Tension gripped the crowd as they pushed for legal accountability.

The All Tribal Women Bodies of Kohima led the protest. They walked to the Governor of Nagaland to drop off a formal memorandum. They want the trial finished without further delays. The document calls for a fair, impartial, and time-bound process to ensure the victim gets justice.

Protesters also hit out at the recent rise of violence against women and kids across the state. They urged officials to speed up all pending investigations. One representative stated the goal clearly: "We are demanding a fair, impartial and time-bound trial." The groups expect the Governor to intervene immediately to keep the legal proceedings on track.
