The stretch functions as a main link for schools, markets, and nearby villages. Potholes now swallow rainwater and mimic small ponds.
Daily commuters face constant danger. Residents and shopkeepers blame poor drainage for the persistent waterlogging that ruins inventory and hurts local trade. The students finally decided to fill the gaps themselves since local officials ignored the crumbling infrastructure. The union issued a clear demand. "The organisation warned that if no action is taken within the stipulated period, it will launch a larger public agitation with the support of local residents."
The union demands a scientific road repair and a new drainage system. They gave the administration ten days to finish the work. Failure to meet the deadline will trigger a broader public protest.
