Kidney and organ transplants also qualify for Rs. 3.50 lakh. Cancer patients can claim Rs. 2.50 lakh for surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. Brain surgery grants hit Rs. 2 lakh. Other life-threatening diseases receive a maximum of Rs. 2 lakh.
