Imphal: Manipur Police and a coalition of elite security units have launched a massive, coordinated search operation. They are hunting those behind the recent wave of arson and civilian killings. The operation hit the ground after a November 6 official statement confirmed authorities are actively tracking suspects and interviewing key witnesses.

Joint teams now flood the affected areas. This force includes police, CoBRA, CRPF, BSF, the Army, and the Assam Rifles. They are running cordon-and-search missions alongside intelligence-led tactical operations. "The incidents were being treated with utmost seriousness," the statement noted, confirming that the National Investigation Agency is also involved in the case.

Officials have tightened security and are monitoring the region. They issued a stern warning to the public. Residents must stay calm and reject vigilante justice. Authorities also demanded that citizens stop spreading unverified rumors online. Misinformation fuels the fires. Everyone must cooperate with the police to keep the peace.
