Kohima: Pinnacle Skills opened its latest training hub at TCP Gate in Kohima on June 26. Zubemo Tsanglao, Additional Director for the Department of Employment, Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, cut the ribbon. Pastor Neikepezo Shüya led an opening prayer.
The facility marks a decade of work in the region. Dr. Yan Murry, CEO of Pinnacle Skills, reminded attendees that the firm was the first National Skill Development Corporation certified training center in the state. Murry wants students to treat their credentials with care.
Tsanglao pushed for a shift away from over-reliance on government jobs. He warned that Nagaland faces an economic imbalance due to an excess of state employees. He argued young people must learn practical skills to thrive. "Language proficiency coupled with vocational skills significantly enhances career prospects," Tsanglao said.
The organization plans to offer global placement support and values-based training. Students will also perform community service, such as tree planting and cleanups, during every training cycle. Ajung Thonger, HR and Operations Head, closed the event by thanking the attendees.
