Itanagar: Pema Khandu hit a decade in office today. The Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister took charge on July 17, 2016, reaching this tenure milestone this week. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju met Khandu at Parliament House in New Delhi to mark the occasion.
Rijiju praised the state’s progress during his visit. He credited Khandu for driving change in governance, the social sector, and infrastructure. "Met Hon Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri @PemaKhanduBJP ji, at Parliament House today. Congratulated him on completing 10 years of tenure," Rijiju said in a post on X.
Khandu pushed credit toward federal leadership. He told the minister that the state's transformation stems from the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He cited unprecedented development across every corner of the region as a primary success. Khandu reaffirmed his goal to build a stronger and Viksit Arunachal as he enters his next term.
