NPP Inducts 100 New Youths as Manipur Elections Approach

Imphal: The National People's Youth Front added more than 100 members to its ranks today. The induction took place at the party office in Mercylane, Mantripukhri, Imphal. Most of these new recruits hail from the Ukhrul, Kakching, and Chandel districts. Party leaders held the event to sharpen focus before the 13th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.

NPP National Vice President I. Hemochandra joined state leaders, including President Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, Senior Vice President Dr. Jilasan Sharma, and General Secretary Lakpachui Siro, to brief the newcomers. They covered the party's history, vision, and the specific challenges currently facing Manipur. NPYF Working President Vincent Pou also participated in the session.

NPYF Manipur President Arnold Sanasam presided over the orientation and presented the new members with party Lengyan. Sanasam pushed for a collective effort to improve the state. He said, "The induction was not merely aimed at expanding youth participation in politics but also at encouraging young people to work collectively for the welfare and development of Manipur."

The National People's Women's Front supported the programme. Sanasam promised that the youth wing will run more public welfare events. The goal remains clear: get more young people involved in solving state problems.
