Kohima: Repakaba Tzudir and Impolong Changkiri finished the Hiroshima Orizuru Fellowship Summer Course in Japan. Tzudir, a sociology PhD scholar, and Changkiri, a psychology postgraduate, spent ten days at the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus. They studied from July 28 to August 6. The program focused on the theme, "Conflict and Collaboration in Natural Resource Management – Advancing Positive Peace and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."

Hiroshima University, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, and Columbia University organized the event. The fellowship invited researchers to tackle environmental conflicts and sustainable resource governance. Participants attended lectures, workshops, and field visits. They worked on evidence-based policymaking and peacebuilding strategies. Nagaland University officials stated the achievement proves their push for global engagement and academic excellence. The trip gave both scholars new interdisciplinary perspectives to handle real-world challenges.
