Kohima: Nagaland University is hiring for a research role. They need one Young Professional-II to work at the Department of Plant Pathology on the Medziphema campus. This position lasts until February 2027.
The work focuses on the development, standardization and optimization of microbial and botanical pesticides and their formulations as efficient delivery systems for the management of agricultural, stored grain pests, nematodes and ticks parasites. The ICAR-NASF in New Delhi funds this project.
Applicants need an M.Sc in Agriculture specializing in Plant Pathology. The university also requires candidates to have work experience dealing with fungal and bacterial biocontrol agents for plant disease and pest management. The successful applicant earns a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 42,000, and the institution will pay no house rent allowance.
