Kohima: Lewis Academy in Dimapur hosted a seminar on June 6 focused on integrating artificial intelligence into the classroom. The event was held in collaboration with instudia and aimed to prepare students and faculty for an increasingly automated global economy.
Director of instudia, Daniel Changkija, spoke at the event about the necessity of adopting AI tools to remain competitive. He emphasized that his organization is committed to providing local youth with the technical skills required to navigate modern career paths.
Resource person Vishal Bardewa guided the participants through practical applications of AI, showing them how to build study schedules, simplify complex topics, and conduct academic research. He stressed that these tools are intended to augment rather than diminish student capabilities. "AI is not here to replace human intellect or creativity," Bardewa said. "Instead, it acts as a powerful catalyst to accelerate comprehension, handle repetitive tasks, and open up new avenues for deeper, individualized learning."
The seminar wrapped up with a discussion regarding data privacy, the ethics of AI, and the future of various career fields. The management of Lewis Academy thanked the team from instudia for facilitating the session.
