Shillong: The Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF) East Jaintia Zone delivered aid to two impoverished families in Wapung Shnong. President Satly Ryngkhlem led the humanitarian effort. These families face extreme hardship due to lasting physical disabilities.
One home houses a man left unable to work or walk after a severe leg injury from a youth road accident. The other family cares for a man who went blind later in life. He stays confined to the house now. The HNYF provided support using their own limited funds.
The group protected the privacy of the recipients. Ryngkhlem met with the households to offer encouragement. He told them to "remain hopeful despite their challenges."
