Guwahati Police Detain Nine Women During Raid on Zoo Road Spa

Guwahati: Guwahati city police raided the S&D Parlour on Zoo Road on Sunday after receiving reports of illegal activity at the beauty spa. Officers acted on specific information suggesting that immoral practices were being conducted inside the premises.

During the operation, authorities detained nine women for questioning. Police are currently working to verify the nature of the alleged activities and determine if any formal offenses have been committed.

Investigators also seized several items from the spa during the search. These materials are being held for examination as the probe continues. Officials stated that "preliminary suspicion points to possible involvement in unethical activities" but noted that the investigation is still in its early stages.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the detainees. The police are continuing their inquiries to clarify the situation at the establishment.
