Kohima: The District Youth Resources and Sports Office in Dimapur just put out the call for its upcoming youth festivals. Organizers scheduled the Dimapur district event for September 16 at the MDSC Indoor Hall. They set the Niuland district portion for September 17 at the Old Showuba public ground.
The competition slate includes folk song, folk dance, and declamation. Organizers are targeting individuals, clubs, cultural troupes, higher secondary schools, and colleges. Applicants must get their letters of interest to the District Youth Resources and Sports Office by September 14. An official statement noted, "For further information and detailed guidelines, interested participants may contact at 9089206973 or 9711868013."
