Biplab Deb Urges Health Minister Nadda to Assist Girl With Rare Disease

Agartala: West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb met with Union Health Minister J P Nadda on Friday. The former Tripura chief minister traveled to the capital to secure federal assistance for a young girl named Manashree. She suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a rare and serious medical condition.

Deb detailed the girl's health struggle during the meeting. He pushed for advanced treatment options funded by the central government. Nadda listened to the pitch carefully. According to Deb, the Union minister heard the matter "with utmost sincerity" and led a thorough discussion on how the Health Ministry might provide help.

The MP later confirmed the meeting via a social media post. He expressed gratitude for the response and remains optimistic about securing support for Manashree's future care.
