Guwahati: Bal Raksha Bharat and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank teamed up to deliver 297 relief kits to flood-hit families in Assam. The drive spanned three districts between October 8 and 12. Aid reached those in need. Teams targeted Golaghat, Jorhat, and Nagaon to provide essential supplies to vulnerable households.

The effort kicked off on October 8. Workers handed out 90 kits at Ghiladhari Gram Panchayat in the Golaghat Revenue Circle. Activity shifted to Jorhat on October 9. Staff distributed 117 kits at Seleng Gram Panchayat within the Teok Revenue Circle. The final drop occurred on October 12 at SIRD, Amoni, in the Kuhumtoli Panchayat of Nagaon, where 90 kits were delivered.

Bal Raksha Bharat CEO Santanu Chakraborty joined the ground teams. Government officials and staff from the District Disaster Management Authority, District Child Protection Unit, Health Department, and Revenue Circle offices provided support. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank employees also helped with the distribution.

Organizers emphasized the focus on the safety of young people during the crisis. The groups stated that the operation "reflected their commitment to supporting disaster-affected families, with particular emphasis on children's well-being and timely humanitarian assistance." This partnership brought together corporate muscle and local agency to handle the emergency.
