Guwahati: Police arrested Abu Sayed Ali at Kabaitari in Jogighopa after locals caught him peddling drugs. He ran a cannabis operation out of his Ayurvedic medicine pharmacy at the FCI market. The haul had a street value of roughly Rs 50,000.
Residents nabbed the suspect in the act. They turned him over to the authorities immediately. Police took the man into custody and launched a formal investigation into the operation.
