Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced that the state Cabinet has greenlit the regularization of 74 eligible teachers who previously served under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan framework. These educators will be appointed to fill current vacancies through a formal Departmental Promotion Committee process.
The decision aims to resolve longstanding requests from the teaching staff and bolster the state's education system. Khandu shared the update via social media, stating that the move marks a significant step toward addressing the long-pending demands of RMSA teachers and strengthening the state's education sector.
By transitioning these positions into regular government service, the state intends to provide these teachers with job stability and full benefits. This policy change is expected to improve the continuity of instruction and the overall quality of education provided in government schools across Arunachal Pradesh.
