Sikkim University Announces 2026 Recruitment Drive for Project Staff

Gangtok: Sikkim University wants new staff. The school is hiring for project-based roles in the Research and Development Cell and the Finance Section for 2026. Applicants must show up for a walk-in interview on July 28, 2026.

The university needs one Project Supervisor. You need a postgraduate degree plus two years of work experience at an educational institution. You also need to know your way around a computer. The job pays 30,000 rupees a month. There are no other allowances.

They also need two Project Assistants. Applicants must hold a degree in Management or Commerce. Proficiency in Tally and other computer tools is required. One year of experience is preferred. This role pays 20,000 rupees a month.

Candidates must head to the Office of the Registrar at 6th Mile, Samdur, Tadong, Gangtok. Registration and document checks start at 10:30 AM. Interviews begin at 11:30 AM. Bring a filled application, a CV, original certificates, a set of self-attested copies, two recent passport photos, and a valid ID like an Aadhaar card or Voter ID. If you already have a job, you must provide a "No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, in case the candidate is already in employment."
