Shillong Marks 12th International Yoga Day with Citywide Sessions

Shillong: Shillong turned out for the 12th International Day of Yoga this Sunday. Residents hit the mats at two separate locations to mark the occasion. Sessions ran back to back across the city.

Metallica-Sargam Sports and Cultural Club hosted a protocol session at Jubilee Hall, Matri Mandir, in Polo. Sixty-four people showed up to participate. The energy stayed high throughout the morning.

A second group met at the RBA Hindi Higher Secondary School Auditorium on Keating Road. The East Khasi Hills District Yogasana Sports Association organized that event. Enthusiasts filled the hall for the common yoga protocol.
