Shillong Chamber International School Secures Cambridge Affiliation

Shillong: Shillong Chamber International School just landed a major win. The Pohkseh institution is now the first in Meghalaya to secure affiliation with Cambridge International Education. It hits this milestone as it enters its 10th year of operation.

The late Neil Nongkynrih founded the school at Whispering Pines back in 2016. It operates under the motto, "Love is Inventive." This guiding principle directs the school's focus on building student confidence, communication, and individuality through a blend of academics, sports, and arts.

Ties remain deep with the Shillong Chamber Choir. The school maintains a holistic model that weaves creative disciplines into everyday lessons. Leaders say the move strengthens their push to offer globally recognized schooling.

Admissions for the 2027 academic session are active today. The school is accepting sign-ups for classes ranging from Nursery to Grade 7. Staff are handling inquiries at the campus between 11 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
